Industeam secures its production from Romania

Luxembourg-based industrial equipment manufacturer Industeam has just signed a contract with the company Emsil in Romania to base its production there. Previously, this was handled by subcontractors. This marks the creation of a new subsidiary for the company, which has continuously diversified over the past 15 years.
For the past few months, Thierry Franceschetti has been preparing the project from his offices in Bettembourg. A few trips to the site were necessary before the contract to establish a subsidiary of his company, Industeam, in Romania was signed on August 7. It will be effective as of September 1.
The Luxembourg industrial integrator, founded in 2006, previously had 17 locations "from Calais to Mulhouse" in France, as well as in the Grand Duchy, and employed 700 people. The majority of its business consists of building or relocating industrial equipment from one country to another. Between 40% and 45% of its revenue comes from maintenance. Regarding manufacturing, the group has always relied on subcontracting agreements. It will now supplement these with its own industrial equipment production via Industeam East Europe in Romania.
