Sourcing: Industeam builds its support base in Romania

The Franco-Luxembourgish systems integrator is establishing a production and training unit in this Eastern European country, where it has been operating for over a decade and has found a skilled and motivated workforce.

A Franco-Luxembourgish systems integrator specializing in the construction, maintenance, and relocation of industrial equipment across countries and continents, Industeam is completing an efficient global puzzle with the creation of a Romanian subsidiary employing around fifty people. Based in Aiud, near the Hungarian border, Industeam Romania will handle the manufacturing of small parts and prefabricated components, as well as the pre-assembly of installations to be shipped to sites in Europe, North America, Brazil, and Thailand. Its workforce will complement the group's 550 employees based in Bettembourg, Luxembourg, which generates more than half of its estimated 100 million Euro turnover for 2021 in France.
