The Pipefitter Welder works on our client sites building, installing and maintaining pipework networks, in the workshop and on site, on diameters ranging from half an inch to 15 inches.
Your duties
- Prepare the work area and the equipment required to produce the pipework components
- Read and understand isometric drawings
- Carry out dismantling and cutting of pipework
- Prepare parts in the workshop and position the components
- Identify the appropriate welds according to the materials and the environment
- Set the welding machine according to the welding parameters
- Carry out tack welding and flat, butt and fillet welds
- Read and apply welding procedure specifications (WPS)
Your profile
- Training in pipework, boilermaking or welding
- 2 to 3 years of experience in an equivalent role
- Proficiency in reading isometric drawings and working on diameters from half an inch to 15 inches
- Current welding qualifications, ideally in TIG for field maintenance on steel and stainless steel
