Located on the edge of the former East Moselle coal basin and near the Carling petrochemical platform, GTIA primarily focuses its operations on the petrochemical and power generation sectors.

Initially specializing in piping—bending and welding—as well as the manufacturing of pressure vessels and boiler bodies, GTIA has recently expanded its scope of activities to include an Industrial Boilermaking and Metalwork Department, along with mechanical maintenance and rotating machinery services.

GTIA holds all necessary certifications and possesses over 300 Welding Procedure Qualification Records (WPQR) for all types of steel and alloys. The company also utilizes design and calculation software for the production of steel structures, platforms, walkways, guardrails, and more.

All these activities are carried out through a comprehensive approach that integrates design and calculation notes, workshop fabrication and repairs, and on-site assembly and maintenance, making GTIA a single point of contact for its clients. These clients include tier-1 contractors such as TotalEnergies, Arkema, GazelEnergie, EDF, and Dalkia.

GTIA fits perfectly into the diversification strategy promoted by the Industeam Group. The company has become a recognized provider for installation and maintenance projects at hydroelectric power plants along rivers and canals in France, additionally contributing its expertise in the repair of equipment such as rotating machinery, gearboxes, and pumps.
